Flight Plan Data Design#

Tags flight plans data management documentation

This pattern describes how we manage and document data related to flight plan execution.

Using this pattern#

The flight plan data pattern ensures consistent documentation and management of session-related information. It provides structure for capturing, storing, and reviewing session data while maintaining appropriate privacy controls.

Form#

Session Documentation:

Each flight plan execution generates several types of data:

  • Participant information (attendance, engagement)

  • Session artifacts (flipcharts, chat logs)

  • Group configurations (breakout rooms)

  • Delivery observations

  • Feedback collected

Data Management Approach:

We maintain separate documentation for:

  1. Pre-session data: - Expected participant list - Pre-configured breakout rooms - Prepared materials

  2. During-session data: - Actual attendance - Flipchart contents - Chat messages - Breakout room assignments - Real-time observations

  3. Post-session data: - Feedback collected - Session observations - Follow-up actions

Data privacy#

Privacy Considerations:

  • Client data is stored separately from master flight plans

  • Personal information is handled according to data protection requirements

  • Session artifacts are anonymized when used for training

  • Access controls are maintained for sensitive information
